Completely Black Eyes

5–Black Eyes There’s an eye disorder known as aniridia which makes the eye appear to have “no iris.” In truth, there is a small ring of iris tissue but it is so small and the pupil is so large that it can look like the eyes are completely black. It is due to a chromosome mutation.

The most common cause of a black eye is a blow to the eye, forehead, or nose. Depending on where the blow lands, one or both eyes may be affected. A blow to the nose often causes both eyes to swell because the swelling from the nasal injury causes fluid to collect in the loose tissues of the eyelids.

A black eye is most commonly a result of bruising due to an injury. It occurs when fluid collects in the tissues around the eyes and blood vessels under the skin’s surface become broken. A black eye is usually accompanied by swelling of the affected area.

After one or two days of getting a black eye, you need to apply warm compresses. This will help increase blood flow to the tissues around the eye and accelerate the healing process. Dip a clean cloth in warm water, and squeeze out the excess water. Put the warm cloth on the affected eye until the cloth becomes cool.

Examine your face in a mirror. If your eye is red or swollen, chances are that a black eye will form. Before bruising occurs, the skin around the eye typically will redden and swell. If your eye area is red or swollen, put ice on it and call your doctor. Determine whether or not you feel pain around your eye.

Black eye bruising usually takes 4 to 6 days to heal. Most people will notice an improvement within a day or two as the repair of damaged vessels and tissue begins to show progress. This black eye healing time can be reduced by applying ice, especially if the area is swollen.

Preparing to Face the World. The dark discoloration of a black eye will gradually change colors and fade but depending on the severity of your bruise and your treatment of it, the average healing time lies between 5 and 14 days. It’s not likely that you can confine yourself to your quarters for that long.

Blue eyes are undoubtedly the most desired eye color. It has been observed that blue-eyed people are extremly smart and kind and peaceful and have long lasting relationships because theywork hard to make other people happy. Since not everyone is bothered about others, this makes them stand out.
